A Bit About Me

BIO

"Why do I write? Writing is my passion. Writing is my meditation, my escape, and my release. It's the one thing that allows me to express my innermost thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment or limitations. It's a way for me to be true to myself, to explore the depths of my soul, and to connect with others in a way that only words can.

I write for me, but also for the world. I write to touch the heart, to evoke human emotion, to inspire compassion, and to provoke change. If I can reach even one person out of the 7 billion in this world, I will have accomplished something. Writing has the power to heal, to transform, and to bring people together, and I feel blessed to have the opportunity to share my words with others.

So, why do I write? Simply put, I write because I cannot imagine my life without it. Writing is my passion, my purpose, and my calling, and I will continue to write as long as I have something to say and someone to listen."

~ HARLEM HOLIDAY

Harlem Holiday, an Amazon 2x's Bestselling author, is making waves in the publishing industry with her commitment to providing exceptional publishing services and promoting diverse literature that focuses on issues and themes related to people of color. Born and raised in Harlem, she has been writing for over thirty years, sharing her short stories and poetry with family and close friends.

After attending the Gotham Writers’ Workshop to enhance her writing skills, she briefly studied film and screenwriting at the New School. In 1999, she graduated with a B.A. in Communications, Film, and Video from The City College of New York, where she was honored for Outstanding Leadership and Services as a Peer Academic Advisor and received the university's Civil City Project Award 1st Prize for her poem, The Melting Pot.

She understands the importance of finding quality editors, graphic designers, and creating powerful promotional book campaigns that attract a targeted market. Through her trial and error experiences, she has come to appreciate the business side of writing and desires to bring not only quality books but also affordable publishing services for anyone serious about investing in the art of self-publishing.

This holiday will be the most special of all when Ronnie gets his Christmas wish and one more big surprise! One that he never saw coming.

'TWAS MO' THAN JUST A LI'L CHRISTMAS is a gift that teaches life lessons, emphasizing the value of love, unity, family, and traditions that pass down from father to son. Allow this masterpiece to become your own holiday tradition.

Inspired by the poem "A Visit from St. Nicholas" by Clement Clarke Moore,

most commonly know as "Twas the Night Before Christmas".
