Celebrate Kwanzaa with a Kinara. Kwanzaa is an annual celebration of African-American culture. From December 26th to January 1st, it focuses on African-American history and serves as a holiday to bring the family and community together. Each night focuses on a different principle to help educate and inspire. Participants also enjoy music, feasts, poetry, and more.

 

BROWN KINARA, its simple yet sleek kinara, which holds the seven candles for each night of Kwanzaa, lets you celebrate in style. The earthy brown color easily fits into most decor. It measures 14.5" wide and 5" tall. The base is 5.75" long and 3" wide. 

 

 

BLACK PYRAMID is shaped like an Egyptian pyramid with the Sankofa symbol represented by a bird with its head turned backward while its feet face forward, carrying a precious egg in its mouth. Sankofa translates: "It is not wrong to go back for that which you have forgotten.”  It implores Africans to reach back into ancient history for traditions and customs that have been left behind. . It is sure to become the centerpiece of your family’s Kwanzaa celebration. The Kinara is 14.5” wide and 5.5” tall. The base is 1.5” wide. Made in Ghana. 

 

BLACK KINARA BIRIBI WO SORO is shaped like a ziggurat with holes to hold the candles. It has the Nyame symbol for Biribi Wo Soro, which means God. There is something in the heavens. It is a symbol of hope and inspiration. The kinara is 14.5” and 5.5” tall. The base is 1.5” wide. Made in Ghana.
